UP in 3D

On Saturday night we went and saw UP in 3D. The movie was very cute and I cried twice. I would have cried three times but there was this baby that wouldn't stop crying for about 5 minutes... and loud... very loud.
We ate at the Red Robin. I wanted to have a picture with the Robin so I made Cassandra be in it with me. (what a cute bird, right?!)

This is Cassandra and my cousin Bryce Pickett. It was Bryce's first time seeing a 3D movie that wasn't at disneyland. I thought that was funny.

American Fork Canyon

Last night our friends asked us if we wanted to go camping with them so with a few short minutes we grab some things and headed up the canyon. (Matt can't just be normal in pictures you will just have to excuse him.)
We drove up American Fork canyon and went on a dirt road for about 45 minutes and came to the perfect site.
It was rainy and a little chili but we didn't mind at all.
As we were setting up camp Matt asked where I had put the pillows and I looked at him like oh those things. Well atleast our pillows won't smell like camp fire, we just had to use our coats instead. I did grab tp I would rather have that over a pillow (there was not bathrooms).

The road was very rocky but I want to go back very soon. Free camping and you just pick anywhere you want to set up camp. The sign said that there was a 16 day limit but I don't know if I would stay the max. Thanks Kilie & Robby for inviting us to come with you.

brighter days

I am so glad that the weather is warmer so we can be outside without our snow suits on. We can now have bbq's outside, this was at Mike and Annie's house.
(I like that Ruger decided that he wanted to be in the picture too.)
There are lots of places to off road by our house. Why the boys were off trying to do whatever with the FJ Annie took me for a ride on their 4 wheeler.

Oh this is what the boys were doing trying to keep one tire off the ground. They did it but I wasn't quite sure I liked it. I didn't want it to roll.

We went mountain biking down a trail that was up little cottonwood canyon.

We have been trying to do something fun outside everyday. We also have been playing tennis at the school just down the street, I have to admit I am getting much much better.

seesaws at soda springs

Cody and I were having fun playing on the seesaw until I started getting air and hitting my bum real hard on the stupid metal seat.

Lava Hot Spring (post #2)

The tempature of the water is 102-107 year round.
That is why we couldn't stay in for too long or we could have started cooking, I think. We would go to the hot springs in the middle of the day then back at night.
Matt of course found a place to off road up a very muddy steep hill.

We never even used our shower in our room because the whole weekend we were either hiking or in the hot springs so this is what I started looking like after a few days.

This was at Soda Springs which is about 20 minutes away from Lava. They have a geyser there which made this lovely orange glob of whatever it is.

Lava Hot Springs

This is our place that we stayed at in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. It has two little bedrooms, a kitchen that came in very handy and a fireplace that kept it all nice and cosy.
This was at Hooper Springs Park. The sign above us said "This water is for drinking not for swimming". It was soda water which tasted just like baking soda and water together but fresh.

Since the town has 500 people there isn't much to do there so we played mario kart on our DS's and relaxed a lot.

This was a hike that we went on to the "L". The hike was very steep because the trail was still covered in snow so we had to make our own way up.

This is me ridding my first bull, what a crazy ride that was.

Matt is another year older

Happy 26th Birthday Matthew!
His birthday was the day before Easter so we celabrated his birthday after we ate Easter dinner on Sunday at Suzanne's house. All Matt wanted for his birthday was to paint which I still haven't taken the pictures of the finished project.
