2 weekends in a row

With Matt's new job change over he has been working a lot of hours. He had to work until 12 pm on Friday night so we woke up at 5 am and drove to St. George to make it there by 10 am for Bradley's baptism. Then the next day on Sunday was Brynnlee's blessing.
It was a very short and sweet trip but we had a lot of fun. We went and played Pickleball at the indoor courts. Now I can't get enough of it but I can't find any place in Salt Lake to play it. That night we played board games. One of the games we played is called "the game of things...". I just went and bought it today and I can't wait to play it again. (i got it at target)
The following Wednesday my sister in law Annie went through the temple for the first time. She chose the Manti temple. We hadn't been to that one yet so it was fun to go through it. They took us on a little tour and we got to see the huge staircase. The didn't let us go up it but that was probably a good thing because I didn't bring my camelpak. :) There is a sealing room at the top and there is no elavator so the people that you invite better be able to make it up.

That same week that we had just gotten back from St. George I went back down on Friday night. I went with Matt's sister because he had to stay and work. Mike and Annie got sealed in the St. George temple on Saturday.
So in one week I went to a baby blessing, a baptism, a endowment and a sealing. What a busy week but it was really great.

funny story

We are going to St. George this weekend for my nephew's baptism and my nieces baby blessing. So my dad called me tonight to ask where we were going to sleep when we are down. I had just missed the call so I listen to the message and returned his call with a text staying that I was going to stay at my brothers. We text back and worth for a few minutes then about five minutes later I received a text saying "Love ya." I thought to myself wow that was delayed but how sweet. Then my brother calls me to tell me why it took my dad took a little bit to say love ya to me and its because he text it to the president of the key club, a high school boy. Out of all the text that he was sending me tonight he happened to text a teenage boy "Love ya." The boy replies "WHAT?" My dad then had to quickly call the kid to say sorry I was trying to text my daughter. My dad has a smart phone but just because its smart you still need to know how to use it. Love ya too Dad.
