The Dreaded Grove

On Monday Night we went to the Dreaded Grove in Pleasent Grove. Matt had gotten free tickets from work. We went with our 11 year old nephew Michael and Aubrey & Dillon (friends/next "wall" neighbors) and we had a blast. I started losing my voice by the time we were done. I scream a lot in those things. It wouldn't be halloween if you don't do something where you get scared. Matt and I also watched Red Dragon on Tuesday night. About half way through the movie I had to go to the bathroom and I had to have Matt take me because I got too scared to go all by myself.

Witch's Night Out

Witch's Night Out is for women 18 years old and up. All though guys and kids want to come too which defeats the purpose. We first went to Applebee's to eat dinner and boy did we get some looks. Then we made our way to the party. We went last year and had fun dancing and hanging out. They have a DJ that plays the same old songs that you would hear at a stake dance. They really could be updated. Its at Garender Village and they have a lot of shops and candy stores. After was were tired of dancing we went across the street to the graveyard to take some pictures. Not only was it scary being at the graveyard but we also had to worry about cops. Luckily we left safely all in one piece.

our weekend away

This past weekend Matt and I drove to Logan to stay at the Anniversary Inn. (thanks to suzanne) We had a blast. On thursday night we stayed in the Lake Powel room. The walls were covered in rock it was really neat. Friday night we stayed in the Biker Roadhouse. In that room we had a soda machine, pool table, pinball, big screen, big hot tub and a motorcycle. Logan to me is a lot like St. George because it has a college and a lot of old people...but it has snow. We had so much fun spending time together. We watched Godzilla and Fargo. Two movies that we owned but I had never seen. It was a short but sweet couple of days.

4 years in the making

Today is our 4th wedding anniversary. Four years ago today at 5:30 p.m. we said "I do". This picture of us kissing is where we had our very first kiss. (This is in St. George at my brother Cody's house.) Five years ago Matt had a friend that lived in one of these townhomes and we were there a lot of the time. My first night hanging out with Matt at his friends is were the magic all began. Only two weeks after this kiss Matt said that he loved me and wanted to marry me. Seeing as I had just started my last year in high school we had to wait alittle while. So we waited until I was legal then I pick the first weekend after I was 18 (which was two days) and made it happen. Today is also my mom's birthday and my little sister 16th birthday so we couldn't have picked a better day. I love you Matt thanks for making life so joyful.
