On Tuesday I went to have a bunionectomy. I closed my eyes for "one minute" and I woke up and it was all done. I spent one night and then came home on Wednesday morning. I go back to work next Friday which is kinda soon but I will mostly just be doing computer work so I think I should be okay but we will just have to wait and see.
Matt has been so good to me taking care of me, getting me flowers. When I got home he had this set up for me with a tv tray and the pillows and blankets. He carrys me to the bathroom when I need to go because it still hurts to put weight on it. He makes me meals and serves them to me. I bet he can't wait for me to get my other foot done. Yesterday I was in pain but today it really hasn't been too bad. Our friends Brad & Stephanie came over last night and made us dinner which was yummy. Kilie brought us Lime Rickeys which are my favorite.
This was me getting ready today, Matt thought that it was funny. He got a bath all ready for me today, he has just been the best. Thanks honey for being so sweet to me.

That is too bad you had to have surgery! Looks like it's a pretty painful surgery too. I had my ingrown toenails cut out when i was 18. They did both big toes! I remember driving home to Cedar (from St. George because that's where the surgery was) and they told me to keep my feet elevated. I kept having to take turns sticking my feet up on the dashboard while I used my other foot to push on the gas so my car would still go forward!....all the way home....it was crazy! I always laugh thinking back on it. I feel for ya though! Keep getting better....
And now Mommy is coming to take care of you, too! When do you get your other foot done?
