i love my hobbies

Tonight I made this purse. It is a new style than I usually make. Then I messed up at the top when I was sewing the finishing stich and Stefanie said to just stick a flower over it. I combined my sewing hobby with my knitting addiction. Then I made Stefanie start a scarf of her own that way she wasn't just sitting there watching me sew. (you are welcome stef for me sharing my addictions with you.) :0)

Fall Fun

Even though there is snow all around outside I still like to pretend that the weather is still fall time. I made these pumpkins the other day because my sister was telling me that she saw them on my brothers friends blog.
Then last night I made this beanie to match a scraf that I already have. I have been wanting to learn how to make the flowers that go on the beanies so I did.
I don't think that my head will get cold all winter because of all the knitware I will be making & wearing.

new camera

My birthday present came last week. Matt got me a new camera. I had my last camera for 4 years and I am going from a 3 mega pixel to now a 10 mega pixel. What a jump! Thank you Matt and you are welcome for me getting the black one instead of getting the pink camera.

halloween party

The night before Halloween we had our ward trunk or treat party. It was Matt and my first time going. We didn't know that most people don't really decorate their trunks so we totally had the coolest one. We had the nightmare before christmas soundtrack playing with a black light lighting up the white sider web. I wish I would have taken a picture with the flash off so you could see. The kids really like it and we ran out of candy fast. Matt and I wore our bowling shirts that my family gave to us for Matt's birthday.

For the halloween party at Suzanne's house we were Uma Thurman and John Travolta from Pulp Fiction. Matt even asked me if he could borrow my eyeliner so he could draw a line on his chin so it would look like John's butt chin.

Here is what they look like. Matt was bumbed that we couldn't find a wig for him to wear.

This was the look I was going for. But I wasn't smoking.

cornbelly's

I am missing October already. I miss that it doesn't snow in that month and all the fun halloween things we get to do. This is at Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. We went last year to it and then decided to go again this year.

Lou was having fun with me taking her down the slide. Aidan is in the right corner on his tummy. I wish I was brave enough to do that.

Then Sherilyn, Mikell and I raced. I won but I think I might have gone a little early. (Sorry for cheating I didn't mean to I just couldn't wait to go down.)

The Dreaded Grove

On Monday Night we went to the Dreaded Grove in Pleasent Grove. Matt had gotten free tickets from work. We went with our 11 year old nephew Michael and Aubrey & Dillon (friends/next "wall" neighbors) and we had a blast. I started losing my voice by the time we were done. I scream a lot in those things. It wouldn't be halloween if you don't do something where you get scared. Matt and I also watched Red Dragon on Tuesday night. About half way through the movie I had to go to the bathroom and I had to have Matt take me because I got too scared to go all by myself.

Witch's Night Out

Witch's Night Out is for women 18 years old and up. All though guys and kids want to come too which defeats the purpose. We first went to Applebee's to eat dinner and boy did we get some looks. Then we made our way to the party. We went last year and had fun dancing and hanging out. They have a DJ that plays the same old songs that you would hear at a stake dance. They really could be updated. Its at Garender Village and they have a lot of shops and candy stores. After was were tired of dancing we went across the street to the graveyard to take some pictures. Not only was it scary being at the graveyard but we also had to worry about cops. Luckily we left safely all in one piece.
